Fiscal Year End Roll - June 28, from 2PM, to July 1 at 11AM (estimated)

In order to facilitate the fiscal year end roll, the following systems will be shut down as indicated below:

June 28th, @ 2:00 PM:

  • CashNet Payment Portals (including eMarket sites) will be unavailable until the roll is complete.

June 30th, @ 2:00 PM:

  • Ellucian Mobile Registration and Registration in EAB Navigate will be shut down
  • Banner and Self-Service Banner will not be available

Additionally, the following services will not be available via the portal:

  • For Students add/drop courses; withdrawals; view holds; payments; view billing statements; and registration.
  • For Faculty and Instructors submit grades; class roster; time sheets and leave processing.
  • For Staff Self Service Banner, including time sheets and leave processing.

All impacted systems are expected to be available again starting Monday, July 1 at 11:00 a.m., pending successful completion of the fiscal year end roll.

D2L, DegreeWorks, EAB Navigate (Other than registration), and Cognos reports will not be impacted by this outage.

A follow-up email will be sent once all work has been completed.

CCCS-IT is planning to apply Banner upgrades into production on Sunday, June 23rd from 5:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. These upgrades are required to keep Banner current and secure, as well as to support student Financial Aid processing for the 24-25 aid year. During this time, all Banner and related functionality will not be available (Admin Pages, Self-Service, Workflow, BDM, DegreeCheck, EAB Navigate, etc.).

The portal, student email, Cognos reports and D2L, as well as any other products not mentioned above will continue to be available. However, access via the portal to Banner Self-Service will not be available. Examples of impacted functionality includes the following:

  • For Students - add/drop courses; withdrawals; view holds; payments; view billing statements; view/order transcripts; DegreeCheck; EAB Navigate registration and add/drop
  • For Faculty and Instructors - submit grades; class roster; time sheets and leave processing
  • For Staff - time sheets and leave processing

The CRM Recruit applications for admission will continue to be available. However, the applications will be held in a queue and pushed to Banner once the upgrades have been completed.
